Concomitant Healing

Concomitant Healing is a physical healing modality where pressure is applied to specific parts of your body to help heal physical injuries.

Concomitant Healing is a form of physical healing for the body.

It deals with healing the physical body from physical problems, caused by the storage of emotional issues or physical problems that affect the flow of energy from the nervous system.

Concomitant Healing is designed to increase the flow of energy through the body, release points of tension within the muscular structure where emotional issues and physical snags are trapped.

Concomitant Healing is not a general healing modality, but specific to healing an injury or injuries.  Using acupressure at various points on the body the treatment follows affected parts of the body that are linked to the injury.  It does not just concentrate on the injured area of your body that is obvious to you.  Following these affected parts in your body allows for the injury to be resolved quickly and effectively.

Concomitant  requires  the application of considerable pressure to precise bodily points using the thumb, forefinger or index finger, depending on the amount of force required.

This healing is designed to not only increase the flow of energy through the body but also to release the points of tensions within the muscular structure where the emotional issues are trapped. This can show as; back tension, stiff neck/shoulders, knee issues, aches and pains throughout the body.  Because humans allow emotions to affect them again and again, concomitant healing is not a permanent fix. It will work for physical respite only as long as the person is able to exclude the negative emotions impacting upon them.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR CONCOMITANT  SESSION AND AFTER

You will be fully clothed throughout your healing session (so wear something loose fitting and comfortable).

Your treatment could include standing up, sitting on a chair and laying on a treatment table.

Your Healing session could take up to 45 minutes.

Depending on the amount of pressure required at each point I use my thumb, forefinger or index finger.

You may find some bruising around each point in the days following your treatment.

Concomitant  is an exquisite craft, a form of healing from the earliest times.
